I’m so incredibly thankful for my family and all they’ve done to help me through my worst days. My parents have been my biggest supporters and have helped me through all the turmoil of medicine adjusting, stress, PTSD and therapy.
I encourage you all to think of 5 things you are thankful for this year. My five are:
1) My family
2) The Gospel of Jesus Christ
3) My therapist
4) My friends
5) Priesthood Blessings
It can be hard to find things to be thankful for when you suffer from a mental illness. Right now I’m starting to go off medication that’s not working so I’m not feeling very well but it helps me remain positive when I think about the things I’m grateful for. I hope everyone has a great thanksgiving and that you don’t put too much pressure on yourself to make it a perfect thanksgiving. Remember to try to stay in the moment and I will do the same! You got this!
